About Me
I'm a dreamer. I love possibilites, meeting new people, and seeing beauty all around me. I love getting to see and capture people in the midst of their beautiful stories. I am married to my perfect other half—John, steady, devoted, world's best daddy and partner in lots of adventures. We have three little people, Valencia (8), Contessa (6) and Peregrin (4) who fill our life with giggles, princess dresses, mud and lots of laundry.
We live in Nairobi, Kenya. Life in East Africa has taught me that each person has a story, and their story matters. There is almost nothing I enjoy more than getting to help tell someone's story.
I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, with all the pain and joys and redemption; and even the mundane. I love seeing beauty in little moments, not just through my camera, but in all of life.
In my 40 years of life I have worked in retail, as a professional baker, as a high school English teacher, a secretary, a copy-writer, and the zillion jobs that make up a mama and home educator.
